No advertising or behavioral tracking
The website and TuffNode desktop apps do not include advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, behavioral profiling, or marketing analytics SDKs.
The TuffNode website and desktop apps are designed without advertising trackers, marketing telemetry, or pointless usage collection. We keep the data paths intentionally small and explain the few that exist.
TuffNode does not use advertising trackers or sell personal data. The website stores only interface preferences locally, while aggregate site and download metrics are handled by the delivery infrastructure described below.

The website uses localStorage for interface preferences such as your language and dismissed notices. These values are not used to identify or track you across websites.
The site and download endpoints use Cloudflare. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used only for aggregate traffic and page-view visibility. Cloudflare infrastructure can also process normal request metadata for delivery and security.
The TuffNode frontend does not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare security features may set strictly functional or security-related cookies depending on the protections active at the network edge. TuffNode uses browser local storage only for interface preferences, not advertising or user profiling.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate accesses and page views. We do not use those metrics to build advertising profiles, follow people across websites, or personalize ads.
The site displays aggregate download counters from TuffNode download endpoints. The public frontend does not create a per-user download profile. Normal request metadata may still be processed by the delivery infrastructure.
